Louise A. Shaak, 72, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Ray N. Shaak. Born in Lebanon on June 2, 1945, Louise was a daughter of the late John P. and Marie C. (Snyder) Allwein. Louise was a graduate of Lebanon High School's Class of 1963. She was a member of Quentin Riding Club, enjoyed shopping, and the companionship of animals. She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Durham; two siblings, John R. Allwein, husband of Mary, and Janice Raynes, wife of Bill; and five nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 1 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042 with a visitation hour from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's name may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
