I was so sad to hear that Phyllis passed away. I have lots of fond memories of her from spending time at the house in Avon when I was little to a box of costume jewelry that she once gave Ange and me that made us think we were totally rich!!! However, one thing I will never forget is the night that dad had to sleep in bed with me because Phyllis was at our house and she flipped down her dentures and it totally FREAKED me out!!!! My dad, mom and Ange send our sympathies your way.

Not sure where to start and where to end my memories;
Phyllis (aunt phyl)- "phylness"- THE BEST CAFETERIA LADY EVER!- BEST 2ND MOM EVER- made THE MOST RIPPIN' molasses cookies and Black Joe cake EVER!- LOVED ELVIS- LOVED BOBBY VINTON
I will NEVER FORGET hearing her sing "BLUE VELVET" and THE TENNESSEE WALTZ in her kitchen... making cookies or black joe cake...watching her wash laundry in the basement with the old fashioned washer with the wringer that could TAKE an arm along WITH the laundry... hanging the laundry in the back yard... allowing all of us kids rip up Grandma and Aunt Shirley's yard with a "Slip and Slide" - she took the "heat" ... was all good for us! - WE LOVED IT!...she would just smile giggle...and be happy! :0)
Dear Phyllis- you were TRULY A FAMILY AND NEIGHBORHOOD ICON.
You and mom were best buddies- like "lucy & ethel"
I will cherish every memory very close to my heart forever! AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
To John,Jonell,Marsha,Russ, and Sandy and your families-
ALWAYS KNOW- Your mom/grandma/great-gradma has the MOST VIP SECTION in Heaven! having a GREAT TIME with cookies and cake and coffee with "the girls"
Always take comfort in knowing that you had a very loving mother, grandmother, and great gradmother and TRUE friend!
Most Sincerely and Respectfully,
Carol O'Donnell Neary (Dolly)
