Rolland Laughlin Obituary

Rolland E. Laughlin, Sr. LEBANON Rolland E. Laughlin, Sr., 78, of 1111 Reinoehl St., passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Patricia J. (Bomberger) Laughlin. Rolland was born in New Bethlehem, on July 1, 1931, a son of the late Bessie M. (Hoover) and Albert Ray Laughlin. He was a retired owner/operator of Laughlin Transport of Lebanon. He was a member of the Masonic Fraternity. He enjoyed trucking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by three children, Regina L., wife of Greg Longenecker of Lebanon, Valerie L., wife of Greg Moll of Lebanon, and Rolland E., husband of Emily Laughlin of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Summer, Andrew, Brittany, Alec, and Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Wayne, Hilton, and Jerry; and one sister, DeRose Virgallito. Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
