Roy(Josh) was a wonderful man. I met him years ago after my friend had told me of him and I stopped by the house. He treated me with kindness and spoke of his service in the war. He led a full and good life despite the severe wounds he sustained in the war and that is a testament to his character. I am honored to have called him a friend and he was truly one of the greatest generation who served his country with honor and valor in a time of need.Soft landings on your final jump my friend. To the entire Zerbe family: May the PRINCE of PEACE fill your hearts with the PEACE which passes ALL understanding - JESUS! The Holy Spirit brought this song to my spirit in remembrance of Josh. We sung this song at the Sch. Church of the Brethern when I was a little girl and it resonates in my spirit to this day as I reflect upon Josh's life. "WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN, WHAT A DAY OF REJOICING THAT WILL BE; WHEN WE ALL SEE JESUS, WE'LL SING AND SHOUT THE VICTORY!" Rest in the arms of PAPA, Josh! We'll see you soon...Our deepest sympathy and condolences. In HIS great love and grip, The Seitzinger's (Jeanette nee Cooper), Tremont, PA.

Tom and family,
My mother informed me of the loss of your father. Your father was my coach in Little League Baseball. I remember to this day how inspired I was of his service in World War II. I was so inspired that I also became a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division. I am very proud to have followed his example and saddened at your loss. I will visit him when I return home. I will leave behind a 101st patch everytime I'm home. Airborne, All the Way!

Josh Zerbe Family:

Your father was a wonderful and kind man. I was shocked to learn of his passing and want you to know that he is in our prayers. Josh was married to my first cousin Anna Fidler. Her father Paul was a brother to my Dad - Norman Fidler. Time will heal your sorrow, but you will never forget. Please convey my condolences to Willard and Betty. It has been many years since leaving Pine Grove in the mid-1950's.

Peace and solace to you all. John and Brenda Fidler and family (Southampton, PA (Philadelphia suburbs.)

I'm so sorry to hear of Josh passing away. A great and well respected man is now in Heaven. I know how hard it is to lose a parent and time does help. You never forget, but in time you will start remembering the fun times you all shared.
My Dad always told me Josh was his best friend. I think every story (and there were many) my Dad would tell me about basketball would start like this:
"I remember one time me and Josh were playing basketball and......." He thought the world of your Dad.
Our hearts are with you at this time.
Love, Holly Heinbach McIntosh and my Dad, "Meps"
