T. Kent Hollingsworth

Decatur

Funeral for T. Kent Hollingsworth, 45, of Decatur will be today, October 5, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Westmeade Baptist Church with Mark Posey officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon until 3 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Hollingsworth died Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born November 19, 1967, in Morgan County. He was a 1986 graduate of Austin High School and a 1991 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Building Science. Mr. Hollingsworth was a home builder in Morgan County since 1994 and was owner of KH Construction since 1995 and was the developer of Mountain Cove Subdivision in Trinity. He was a member of the Morgan County Home Builders Association. Mr. Hollingsworth attended Austinville Church of Christ. He was an avid deer hunter and also enjoyed fishing and boating.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sena Powers Hollingsworth; two daughters, Madison Elyse Hollingsworth and Hilton Lane Hollings- worth, both of Decatur; his mother, Sylvia Patterson Beasley of Decatur; his father, Dr. Jerome Hollingsworth (Katherine) of Decatur; one sister, Dianna Holm (Gene) of Decatur; and one nephew, Connor Fortenberry of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Brent Strandridge, Jeff Hixon, Craig Terry, Bu Letson, Johnny Beard and Wayne Patterson.
