Thelma E. Burrows, 96, of Cornwall Manor and formerly of Hummelstown and Palmyra, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
Born June 13, 1920 in Washington Township, Butler County, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Wyona (Hilliard) Saylor. She was the widow of Donald Burrows since December 1986, was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Burrows; and siblings, Harold, William, Esther Jane, Verda, Norine and Wyona Fern.
A former silk factory teller in Lock Haven, she attended Fort Indiantown Gap Chapel, Annville.
Surviving are her sons, Dayne, husband of Sallie Burrows of Annville and Thomas, husband of Patricia Burrows of Reno, Nevada; sister Bonnie Delaney of Illinois; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Hanoverdale Cemetery, Hummelstown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 1031 Guilford Street, Lebanon, PA 17042.
