William T. "Bill" Aurentz
March 8, 1939 - November 25, 2016
Lebanon
William T. "Bill" Aurentz, 77, is taking the journey to higher Heavens after a short illness. He passed away at The Lebanon VA Medical Center on November 25, 2016. He was the husband of Bonita L. "Bonnie" (Aurentz) Aurentz, with whom he celebrated 52 years in marriage, August 1st of this year.
He was born in Lebanon on March 8, 1939 to the late Herman and Claire Sherman Aurentz. Bill was a graduate of Lebanon High School. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army. For 45 plus years, he had been a certified master mechanic for Pat and Son Service Center. He was a member of Log Hollow Hunting Club in Potter County, Jonestown Legion, and the Perseverance Fire Company. Bill enjoyed hunting, country music, woodworking, and being outdoors.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his siblings, Jeffrey Aurentz and his wife, Colette of Myerstown, Heather and her husband, Earl Whorley of Annville. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent Aurentz.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from Kreamer and Lum Funeral Home and Crematory, Camp Meeting Road and Rt 72, Jonestown. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors. A time of visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Children's Miracle Network, Hershey Medical Center, Mail Code A190 Hershey, PA 17033, or to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I send my deepest condolences to Bonnie&family. I meet Bill as a very young child.Bonnie &William,as my mother would call him were good friends of my parents. we went up-state together,picnics,snowmobiling,all kinds of gatherings.He also was their (my parents)TOP mechanic.He also did a special thing with my parents 8mm tapes of our families lives,that my family will cherish all of all lives thanks to Bill. He was a very kind and caring man. Bonnie& BIllhad a very special marriage.I was blessed to have known Bill.Alot of GOOD TIMES!! love ya Bonnie.
