David C. Fauzey

1941 - 2014

David C. Fauzey, 73, of Rimersburg, died on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family.
 Born March 2, 1941 in Titusville, he was the son of Clarence D. and Mildred G. (Dunn) Fauzey.
He married Mabel M. Best on January 21, 1963.
 Mr. Fauzey lived in the area all of his life and was of the Protestant faith.
He worked as a truck driver for various companies and also enjoyed scrapping metal.
Mr. Fauzey loved hunting and fishing, and he also liked spending time with Chuckie, his Pomeranian mix. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he will be best remembered for always helping anyone in need.
In addition to his wife of 51 years, he is survived by his children, Cathy Roraback and her husband, Philip, of Sligo, Connie Fauzey and her companion, Raymond Cobbett Jr., of Rimersburg, David Fauzey of Sligo, and Donald Fauzey and his companion, Katie Henry, of Sligo; grandchildren, Jeffrey Buzard and his companion, Brianne Hamilton, Samantha Buzard, Andrea Roraback, Alexandra Roraback and Bailey Cobbett; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Karma Buzard; a brother, James Fauzey and wife, Pat, of Titusville; and a sister, Carolyn, of South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Fauzey; and a sister, JoAn Vandervort
 At Mr. Fauzey's request, services will be private.
