Donald Strauser Obituary
Born November 17, 1932 in Bradford, he was the son of William F. and Margaret R. (Lerch) Strauser and Josephine (Plyler) Strauser.
Pap was a truck driver, and after retirement he could be found tinkering in the shed. He could fix anything and had a deep love for his tractors, especially his red, chrome, pimped out tractor.
Pap had a green thumb and could grow just about anything.
He loved technology and never missed a chance to connect with his grandchildren on Facebook and Snapchat. They will miss the selfies that he sent to them.
He enjoyed traveling with his daughter, Angel. He flew and went to the beach for the first of many times after his wife passed away in 2017.
With his deep love for his family, quick wit and clever comebacks, Pap left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He was the best dad ever to his loving daughter, Angel Ragley and husband, Sam, of Rimersburg; grandchildren, Desiree Hayes and husband, Dallas, Paige Kozdra and husband, James, and Donte Whitmer and Karleigh Reinsel; great-grandchildren, Brynley and Brentley Forsythe and Colton and Lucy Hayes; and his large extended family.
Pap was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother; his wife, Beverly (Guntrum) Strauser, who passed away on July 23, 2017; and great-grandson, Drake Hayes.
At Pap's request, services will be private.
Interment will be in Lawsonham Cemetery in Rimersburg.
Arrangements are at the direction of the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home of Rimersburg.
