Ruth Copenhaver Obituary
She was born on June 25, 1929 in Germany to the late Rudolf J. and Mathilde Fuchs Braus.
Ruth married the love of her life, Clair D. Copenhaver, on December 18, 1954. He preceded her in death in 2000.
She was a devoted military wife, traveling all over the United States and Europe with her husband during his military career.
Ruth always loved donating to local animal shelters, as she was an avid animal lover. In her earlier years, she enjoyed reading, gardening and skiing.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold O. Jacobson presiding.
Interment will take place beside her beloved husband in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Oak Ridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth's honor to the Clarion Area Agency on Aging, 16 Venture Lane, Clarion, PA 16214.
