Robert "Bob" West

1937 - 2024

Lake Mills, WI - Robert "Bob'" C. West, 86, Lake Mills, WI, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was born December 16, 1937, in Rockford, the son of Robert and Alma (Fehlar) West. Bob married Bernadine Yastrzab on March 13, 1959. She passed away on June 13, 2011. He worked as a journeyman lineman for Commonwealth Edison Electric for many years. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Generation Neighbors Rehab Facility in Byron and to the doctors and staff at Serenity Hospice in Oregon for their kind and compassionate care.

Survived by his children, Ron (Patty) West, Cathy (Dean) McMullen, Michael (Michelle) West, Pamela (David) Carroll and Bernadette (Doug) Simonson; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Voiles; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Bernadine, his parents, his brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Marilyn West and his brother-in-law, A.J. Voiles.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 201 Buckbee St. Rockford. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
