She was born to Cliff and Alvina Teigen on May 31, 1977 in Ronan, she was raised and lived there most of her life.
Kim had a love for the great outdoors and animals. As soon as she could, she was out with her dad working doing all the chores needed for upkeep of the ranch. Including having cows and calves. One of her favorite times was branding time where the whole family and friends came together to do that. Her sisters, Nikki and Drenda helped and her brothers came to help their dad. Tim, Erin, Byron came from out of state to help. Cousins, nieces, and nephews, her sons Andy and Austin were there. It was an annual event and fun for all.
She had a love for horses and dogs especially and had them while working on the ranch and doing it with a great sense of humor, a wonderful smile, and laugh.
Kim worked at various places, but she enjoyed working at the saw mill where her dad had worked for so many years, her sister Drenda worked there also with her.
She worked with Berta, who was a contractor for a few years. Doing many projects, painting, drywall, floor insulation ect, you name it we did it. We were a jack of all trades . Kim worked hard. Kim did a lot of bar activities, was very good at Pool, just like her mom and dad. She made a lot of friends there. She was known to help anyone that needed a hand. She worked with her uncle Vern changing pipes and working in the hay field.
