Steven Rodger Gordon, 78, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in Niles, Michigan surrounded by his loving family.
Steve was born on September 13, 1947 in Shelbyville, Illinois to the late Noble Gordon and Wanda (Moore) Gordon.
Left to cherish the memory of Steve is his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara (Lenz) Gordon; children, Shari (David) Ahlgrim, Thomas (Phil) Gordon, and S.H. Gordon; grandchildren, Chris Ahlgrim, Nick Ahlgrim, and Dylan Ahlgrim, and siblings, Peggy (Roscoe) Richards and Rebecca Gordon.
A passionate woodworker, Steven dedicated countless hours crafting beautiful pieces that will be cherished by those who were lucky enough to receive them. His talent was matched only by his love for the outdoors, often spending weekends fishing at his favorite spots and enjoying the tranquility that nature provided.
Above all, the true light of Steven's life was his grandchildren. He found immense joy in spending time with them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
