Barbara A. Reidel (71) gained her angel wings peacefully at home in her husband's arms on May 23, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.
Barb was born February 27, 1954 to Edyth Crandall and Richard (Bud) Hallquist. Barb graduated from Memorial High School in 1973. She then met the love of her life; Michael Reidel and they wed on November 16, 1974. The following Spring, they welcomed their Daughter.
Barb worked at Mayo Health Systems for 40 years in Environmental Services. She loved working there and loved meeting so many people. She made fast friends with all that she knew. Those friendships got her through tough times, including her first cancer diagnosis. Barb loved watching the GB Packers. She loved having family over to watch the games and have a BBQ. Barb enjoyed scrapbooking and card making with her daughter. We always kept ourselves entertained.
Barb is proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, Aunts, and Cousins.
Barb has left behind her husband Michael Reidel, daughter; Stacy (Mike) Sehorn, Granddaughter Jasmine Plata, siblings: Lana (Jim) Luhm, Charlotte (Paul) Fletty, Jeff Hallquist, Michael (Carrie) Hallquist, Michelle Langen, Deb (Guy) Vandenburg, Chris Kothlow, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fly with the angels Barb. I miss you so much already. I miss your texts, emails and phone calls and all the pictures you sent of your fur babies. Rest in peace along with Mom and Dad.
