Donna A. Boos, 69, of Chippewa Falls, died Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Donna was born August 14, 1956 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Leonard and Gertrude (Zwiefelhofer) Bowe.
On October 12, 1974, Donna married Dale Boos at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Bloomer, they were married for 51 years. She was a member of St. Charles Church.
Donna worked at Mason Shoe for 25 years, then 3M in Eau Claire and lastly Indianhead/Ansay Insurance Company as a personal line rep.
Donna loved helping people by being a people-person, she always put other people first, she cherished her grandchildren and attending her grandchildren's sporting events, and enjoyed camping. She was always an instigator, always having fun.
Donna is survived by her husband, Dale; one son, Scott Boos of Eau Claire; one daughter, Anita (Ben) Coenen of Eau Claire; one brother, Richard "Dick" Bowe of Bloomer; six sisters, Marlene Sarauer, Jeanette (Daniel) Sarauer, Lorena Stoffel, Lois (William) Sarauer all of Bloomer, Marjorie Dressel of Cadott and Diane (Dennis) Sarauer of Lake Holcombe; and 5 grandchildren, Brianna and Caleb Coenen, Ryan, Michael and Nathan Boos.
Donna was preceded in death by one son, Bradley Boos; her parents; one sister, Rita Bowe in infancy; and one grandson, Tyler Coenen.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 19th at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Timothy Oudenhoven will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 18th at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. There will be a Christian vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
