Dorothy Seston Obituary

Dorothy "Irene" Seston, age 98, passed away on Monday, Oct. 24 at Badger Prairie Health Care Center, Verona, Wis.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1924, in Oregon, Wis., the daughter of Claude and Dorothy (Manson) Lyons. Irene married her loving husband, Dean L. Seston, on June 10, 1944, in Oregon. Irene was a loving mother and wife while partnering to run the family farm early in her life. She was very active in community organizations, in particular Special Olympics. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, bowling and bird watching.

Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Dean, and her daughter, Laurie. Irene is survived by four children, Ken (Arlyce), Karen (Rick) Farris, Larry (Holly) and Scott (Vickie); eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Badger Prairie Health Care Center for the loving care they provided Irene. Per Irene's wishes there will be no service. A Celebration of Life for Dean, Irene and Laurie will be held at Lake Wisconsin Country Club, N1076 Golf Road, Prairie du Sac, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Memories and condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
