Earl Butteris Obituary
Earl (Chuck) C. Butteris, age 78, of Knapp WI passed away Saturday, July 30 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.
He was born on July 4, 1945 in Menomonie, Wisconsin to Merle and Katherine (Milliron) Butteris. He grew up in the Knapp area and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1963.
Earl enjoyed taking scenic road trips with his brother and visiting with friends and relatives.
Earl is survived by one brother, Richard Butteris of Knapp; nine nieces and nephews, Duane Gansberg, of Menomonie, Rita (Jerry) McKahan of Cottage Grove, MN, Susan Lehrke of Menomonie, Mary Gansberg of Seymour, WI, James (Alice) Gansberg of Boyceville, WI, Michael (Jayme) Gansberg of Menomonie, Andrew (Kari) Gansberg of Menomonie, Bruce (Lori) Gansberg of Waupun, WI, Jason (Susan) Gansberg of Menomonie. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marlene Gansberg and sister Delores Butteris, one stepbrother Virgil Butteris and a nephew Gary Gansberg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 4 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Teresa Pejsa officiating. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Thursday, August 3 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 p.m. and at 10:00 a.m. on Friday until the time of service. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in the Twp. of Stanton, Dunn Co., WI.
