Gilbert G. Adank, age 66 formerly of Fall Creek, passed away in Altoona on Wednesday, May 22.
He was born on August 5, 1957 in Eau Claire to Kermit and Karen (Kaeding) Adank. He grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from Memorial High School.
Gilbert liked to farm with his grandma Irene, uncle George and great-grandma Emma. He lived in Fall Creek for many years.
He is survived by his mother Karen Adank; brothers, William (Robin) of Meridian, MS and George (Janell) of Pasadena, TX; sisters: Patricia Adank (Jack Skoug) of Eau Claire, Deborah Adank of Eau Claire and Judy Adank of Tomah, WI; and Wendy Adank. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are his father Kermit, brother Henry, nephew Nicholas, great-grandma Emma Kaeding, grandma Irene Kaeding, grandpa and grandma Henry (Cecylia) Adank and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 30 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Fall Creek.
