Joseph (Joe) John Frenette, 85, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away at his home on February 16.
Joseph was born on February 28, 1939 in Chippewa Falls, WI to August Joseph and Myrtle Frenette. He served his country for eight years in the Wisconsin National Guard and the U.S. Air Force before becoming a truck driver for the next 35 years.
In retirement, Joe enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, his family, biking, yard work, traveling, taking photos, shooting gigabytes of video, and dining with friends.
Joe is survived by his wife, Dianne, of 61 years; daughter, Tamara Franciskovich of Eau Claire; son, Brian (Pam) Frenette of Juneau, AK; daughter, Kimberly (Chris) VanderHeyden of Appleton, WI; sister, Jacqueline (Julius) Lee; brother in-law, Kent (Connie) Sprague, brother in-law, Richard (Judy) Sprague, and sister in-law, Mary Sullivan, all of Chippewa Falls, WI. Joe also has six grandchildren, three step grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brother, (Robert), sister in-law (Yolaine), brother in-law (Patrick) and son in-law (Laddie).
Joe was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Joe will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls, WI.
