Kathleen Grasser Obituary
Kathleen Grasser, 89, of Eau Claire, passed away on Monday, June 23 at Dove Health Care – West.
Kathleen was born on May 15, 1936, to Fred and Mildred (Traun) Berger on the family dairy farm near Bear Creek between Durand and Mondovi. She was a graduate of Lima Sacred Heart High School. Kathleen was employed in the billing department of Sacred Heart Hospital for over 40 years. In 1972 Kathleen married Duane Grasser.
Kathleen enjoyed traveling, taking care of her flowers, baking, and family get togethers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mildred (Traun) Berger; her husband, Duane; brothers, William and James Berger; her sister, Theresa Maenner; infant sister, Wilma Berger.
Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Carol Traun of Durand, Margaret Allen of Rhinelander; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kathleen's family will be eternally grateful to Bob Maenner who faithfully was by Kathleen's side these past few years.
Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Friday, June 27, 2025 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th St. Eau Claire. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am, with Father Larry Berger officiating. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery / Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, 4100 S. Hastings Way, Eau Claire following the Mass.
