Linda Pihl Obituary

Linda Pihl, 75, peacefully passed away early Sunday morning, April 6 at River Pines Nursing Home in Altoona, WI.

Linda was born February 3, 1950 in Nevada, IA to Earnest and Dorothy Pihl. The family moved to Augusta, WI in 1955. Linda graduated from Augusta High School in 1968. Linda moved to Eau Claire, WI in 1974.

In Eau Claire, Linda worked at Huebsch Laundry, Sears, and Walmart from 1991 until her retirement in 2010.

Linda enjoyed reading, doing needlework, playing with her cats, playing cards, eating Culver's, and watching the Hallmark Channel, criminal shows and the Brewers.

Linda is survived by her older sister, Sharon Doggett of Merced, CA and younger brother, Keith (Renee) Pihl of LaPorte, IN; daughters, Kris Brown of Indianapolis, IN and Traci (Wade) France of Eau Claire, WI; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; and longtime friend and caregiver, MaryLou Decker.

The family would like to express gratitude and appreciation to the staff of River Pines Nursing Home and St Croix Hospice.

A family graveside service will be held in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home of Augusta, WI.
