Lori Lynn Erdman, age 65 of Eau Claire, passed away on Sunday, January 21, surrounded by family at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. She was born on April 24, 1958 in Eau Claire to the late Ronald and Betty Noyes.
Lori graduated from Eau Claire North High School and worked at Donut Land in 1977. She attended CVTC and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Administrative Assistant. She retired from WDATCP after 26 years in 2018. Lori married John Mooney in 1977, they later divorced. On May 12, 2000, she married the love of her life, Vernon Erdman.
She enjoyed going to the casino, planting flowers and bowling, whether in a league or with family during the holidays. One of her biggest passions was playing games with family and friends, whether it was card or board games. A couple of her favorites were "May I," Duckie Dice, Sequence and Pass the Ace.
Lori survived by her husband Vernon; children, Angela (Michael) Friend, Katie Mooney, Alan (Shannon) Ross and Cory (Jaime) Ross; grandchildren, Kyleigh, Kyra, Madilynn, Shelby, Cordell, Halle and Tessa; brother Steven Noyes; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents and sister-in-law Sue Noyes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for a new memorial bench in Lori's honor at Rest Haven Cemetery.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona with Pastor Dan Doran officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. (NOON) until time of service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington.
Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared at cremationsociety-wi.com.
