Phyllis Semingson, 94, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Pigeon Falls Health Care Center.
Phyllis was born on October 13, 1930, in Eau Claire to Chester and Esther (Stomprude) Olsen.
She was united in marriage to Howard Semingson on August 30, 1952. During her life she clerked for Clear Creek and worked for both Strum and Eleva Banks of Osseo for 34 years. Her summers were spent travelling the US and Canada and out fishing with Howard. Going to the Wisconsin casinos with friends was always a plus and a fun time. Phyllis always loved to sew and create projects that we hold dear to our hearts. Her passion was sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed helping dad pick out new wood projects.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; and her parents, Chester and Esther.
Phyllis's memory will forever be held in the hearts of her children, Ivan (Namoi) Semingson and Carmen (Bernard) Knutson; grandchildren, Corrine (Steve) Lardinois, Annesa (Gregg) Johnson, Maggie (Drew) Vettel, and Kelly (Jeff) Bernhardt; great-grandchildren, Cami, Ben, Mykah, Afton, Maeda, Jackson, Brock, Bryce, and JayLyn; brother, Dale (Charlene) Olsen; sister-in-law Phyllis Skovbroten, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Strum. Schiefelbein Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
