Deborah J. "Debi" Lane, 68, of Kittanning, Pa., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at ACMH Hospital.
She was born on July 12, 1953, in Kittanning, Pa., the daughter of Ralph C. and Jean (Stewart) Smith.
Debi graduated from Kittanning High School and had attended the Harvest Church. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Slippery Rock University and was a substitute teacher for Armstrong County Area Schools. Debi volunteered at the election polls in East Franklin Township. She enjoyed scrapbooking and coloring, but her greatest joy was the love she had for her grandchildren. Debi was her son's, Christopher, biggest hockey fan and she never missed a game.
Her memory will be cherished by husband of 50 years, Tim Lane, whom she married Oct. 9, 1971; son, Christopher Lane and wife, Delayna, of Snowshoe, W. Va.; daughter, Melanie Graham and husband, J.R., of Shelocta; five grandchildren: Brandon and Brittany Graham, and Kimberly,
Angelina and Arianna Lane; sister, Darlene Anderson of Cleveland, Okla.; a brother, Dennis Smith and wife, Linda, of Shelocta.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning.
Additional visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Neal III officiating.

So Sorry Tim for You Your Children & Grandchildren for the passing of Debie. When I was back to Kittanning 3 yrs or so Debie & I met for lunch. Debbie & I have been friends for over 50 yrs. Debbie was a Faithful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, & a Friend to Other. Debbie love Jesus. Will be praying for You & Your Loved Ones.
