Doris Ann (Schultz) Swast, 90, of Boardman, Ohio, formerly of Templeton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 26, 2021, at her home.
She was born Feb. 6, 1931, in Armstrong County, a daughter of the late Veto and Sarabelle (Musser) Schultz.
She worked as a secretary at Better Dairy Company and McNeese Brick Company, before becoming the office manager at Haribison-Walker Refractory. Doris was a member of River of Life Church in Boardman, Ohio. She enjoyed her family and friends, cooking, baking, sewing and quilting.
Survivors include her sons: Nyle Swast and Alan (Barbara) Swast; eight grandchildren: Jennifer (Steve) Fuller, Bethany (Derek) Wylie, Nyla (Barry) Friday, Joe Swast, Alana (Patrick) Murray, Ryan (Kit) Reedy, Carissa Reedy and Courtney (Corey) Maines; 11 great-grandchildren: Edan and Vince Fuller, Morgan Wylie, Lincoln Friday, Lauren and Landen Swast, Brennan and Allyson Murray, Ean Reedy, and Diana and Ayla Maines; brother, Jack (Paulette) Schultz; and sister, Sharon (Ken) Shuman.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Swast; daughter, Lisa Reedy; daughter-in-law, Karen Swast; brothers: Dale Schultz and Regis Schultz; and sister, Barbara Schultz.
Friends will be received on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, from 11 a.m. to noon with the funeral service to immediately follow at noon with her son, the Rev. Alan Swast, officiating.
Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery, Templeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Doris' honor to the River of Life Church "Parking Lot Project," 65 Palestine Ave., Boardman, OH 44512.
