Hazel E. Karwoski Hazel E. (Morrow) Karwoski, 84, of Gibsonia, died Saturday June 11, 2016 at the Armstrong County Health Center.
She was born on July 7, 1931 in Kittanning to the late John and Sarah (Slagle) Morrow.
A lifelong resident of the area, she worked at Penn Tire, with her family, for 34 years.
She was a member of Bakerstown United Methodist Church.
She loved spending time at her camp in Mosgrove along the Allegheny River. She also liked waterskiing, bowling, playing cards and slot machines. She was a very hard worker, and worked with her son at Penn Tire up until the time of her stroke. She enjoyed making Christmas cookies with her daughter every Christmas. Survivors include her son, David Karwoski, of Butler; her daughter, Tanya (Dave) Bruno, of Dayton; five grandchildren, Nikki Karwoski, Sarah Karwoski, Nathan Karwoski, Alyssa Bruno and Keeley Bruno; her brothers John Morrow, of Alamo, California and Robert Morrow, of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, George Karwoski, who passed away in 2003.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, in Kittanning, with the Rev. Dennis Swineford officiating.
Interment will be in the Kittanning Cemetery. A reception will follow at the family's camp in Mosgrove, so they ask that you bring a change of clothes or dress appropriately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bakerstown United Methodist Church at 5760 William Flynn Highway, Gibsonia, PA 15044.

We remember the good times we had with Hazel, cookouts, skiing on the river, swimming, were some of the outdoor activities but we also enjoyed dinners together, special holidays, family visits and much, much more. Hazel, you are missed. We still laugh about our times together. ❤❤
