James Bureau Obituary

James Felix Bureau, 56, of Fenelton, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Born April 4, 1954, in Kittanning, he was a son of Helen (Beers) Branan, of Cowansville, and the late Felix Bureau. He formerly worked for PPG in Ford City and Concrete Core Drilling, Butler. An Army veteran, he served during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and painting. He also enjoyed taking his granddaughter for ice cream. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Sarah Bureau, of Kittanning; granddaughter, Lily Petrie; brothers, Charles Bureau, of Shelocta, and Robert Branan, of Greensburg; half brothers, Robert Bureau, Thomas Bureau and Timothy Bureau; and sisters, Robin Crawford, of Worthington, and Betty Haught, of Cowansville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Bureau, on Dec. 20, 1989. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the MANTINI FUNERAL HOME INC., 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Jonathan Speck officiating.
