Morgan Mortimer, 22, of Rural Valley, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019.
She was born on Jan. 25, 1997, to Jeffrey Mortimer, Sr., and Nicole Lasher in Kittanning.
Morgan loved spending time with her daughter.
Morgan is survived by her father and step-mother, Jeffrey (Nicole) Mortimer, of Rural Valley; mother, Nicole Lasher, of Kittanning; daughter, Kilaaya Mortimer, of Rural Valley; two brothers, Jeffrey Mortimer, Jr., of Georgia, and Alexander Braun, of Indiana, Pa.; two half brothers, Joey Hawk, Jr., and Cole Ridinger; a half sister, Izzy Fotheringham; paternal grandparents, Richard and Linda Mortimer, of Kittanning; and maternal grandparents, Randy and Janet Atkinson, of Worthington.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 724 W. Main St., Rural Valley. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the New Hope Assembly of God, NuMine, with Pastor Steve Kromer officiating.
