Raphla Wasnak Obituary
Raphla Jean (Martillotti) Wasnak, 79, of Kittanning, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at her home.
Born Jan. 19, 1942, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Betty Martillotti, and was a lifelong resident of the community.
She was a homemaker. Raphla was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning. She enjoyed traveling, loved her friends, kids and animals.
Left behind to cherish her memory includes her daughter, Carrie Ann (Randy) Harrod, of Henderson, Nev.; son, Randy Lawrence Wasnak, of Kittanning; grandchildren: Kayla Saylor, of Henderson, Nev., Chris Wasnak, of Colorado, David Harrod, of Henderson, Nev., Renae Bashline, of Clovis, N.M. and Alec Vickers and Lauren Vickers, both of Kittanning; great-grandchildren: Emily, Natalie, John-Paul, Anthony,
Jennifer and Jessica; and brothers, Jim and Joe Martillotti.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, whom she married Oct. 15, 1960, and passed away in June of 2004; and sisters: Mary Ellen Hooks and Lucinda Cogley.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. at Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, Pa., with Father Ronald Maquinana officiating.
