Ralph Johnson

Ralph "Leigh" Johnson Ralph "Leigh" Johnson, 82, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his home. Leigh was born on August 18, 1940, to Ralph and Marguarite Johnson in Emporia, Kan. Leigh's career in education spanned over 25 years with the Leavenworth, Kan. School District, where he served as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. Leigh is survived by his wife, Ginny Latta, sister, Margaret Ann Carr (Leslie), children Susan Sadler (Ron), Diane Simpson (Bill), Mike Johnson; their mother, Sharon Johnson, grandchildren, Kelsey and Kasey Sadler, Will and Josie Simpson, Dalton Johnson, nephew, Chris Carr, as well as many extended family and friends. Leigh truly loved time with his children and grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoyed his time on hunting and fishing trips throughout Kansas and time he spent with his wife, Ginny in their log cabin in the mountains of Ruidoso, N.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memory of Leigh Johnson re: Osage City Alumni Association, PO Box 114, Osage City, KS 66523. Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Rapp Cemetery in Osage City, Kan.
