In attempt to reconnect with Drew, Gil was told of the tragic news. Drews name as well as the three muskateers were often spoken throughtout the years. Gil doesn't have many childhood memories without Drew. He will be sadly missed. My heart goes out to you and your family. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Pate,
Unfortunately, I did not know your son. I read the news article and I have to say thank you. It must have been terribly painful to discuss. When my 17 year old son came to work the day I read the article I printed it out for him and his girlfriend to read. They had already heard it at Northside High. The teachers brought it to their attention. Needless to say, it brought tears to everyone's eyes, including mine. You did your best in raising your son. God called him home, he needed him more than we did here.
I'm so sorry for your loss. But I have to say thank you again for bringing this to EVERYONE'S attention. There is a problem here that needs to be dealt with, teenage drinking... My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My time ease your pain with knowing you'll see your Drew again in heaven. He is walking with our Lord on golden streets...

Perry and Tracy, I was told by my mother (Brenda) to go on the internet and read the article about the fateful accident. I can only offer my deapest condolences. This is saddening to all of us here in our house. Eventhough I only saw Drew a couple of times riding his bike just up the street from Mom's house. I wish there was something that I could do.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that when things like this happen we must never ask why this happened but how do I get through the grief. Drew has left us, but Drew will never experience another dark day. He will never face another challenge, regret, or sorrow. His spirt is full of the presence of our Lord and Savior. Imagine his face glowing with the light of God, wrapped in the arms of Jesus. I do beleive in Angels and I know that they were shouting GLORY, GLORY, GLORY, when Drew went home to God. Saved by the grace of God and forever free from Satan, his mind and spirit are at peace.

I went to high school with Drew and though I spent very few time with him, the times that we spent together were some of the best times of my life. I will be praying for you, I heard the sounds of the accident from beginning to finish because I was outside, I ran in told my husband what I heard and called 911 also and they said that a call had been made already. I told my friend about it that morning and on Sunday she called and confirmed what I heard was an accident and who was involved.
