Manchester, , GA- Ann Claire Cook Dermer, 69 of Manchester, GA died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Columbus Hospice, Columbus, GA.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dermer will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Manchester with burial following in the Meriwether Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Dermer was born January 8, 1947 in Columbus, GA the daughter of Grady Carter Cook and Margie Grace Sinclair Cook. She was a retired Dental Technician. Mrs. Dermer was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, Columbus, GA , the Christian Woman's Club and a lifetime member of Hadassah . She worked as a volunteer for 25 years with St. Francis Hospital, Columbus Hospice and Roosevelt-Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation. She spent most of her life caring for other people.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Saul R. Dermer DDS, daughter Amy Haney and her husband Jason; son Mark Dermer; grandchildren Marcus Cain Dermer and Alyson Hazel Haney all of Columbus, GA.

Dr.Dermer, Mark and Amy, please know your mom played a big part in my life for many years, I've reflected on them a lot this week. I'm heart is broken for you all, I love you and hope we can see each other soon. I pray that God will give you every thing you need each and every moment . I love you all!
