Columbus , GA- Mrs. Anna Giles, 89, 3541 Surrey Lane Columbus,GA passed Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Kindred Hospice. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Greater Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church 3000 12th Ave Columbus, GA, with the pastor, Rev. Dr. Marcus J. Gibson officiating and Rev. Curtis Giles eulogist. Visitation will be today, Friday January 19, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. according to Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel at Rose Hill LLC 2919 Hamilton Road Columbus, GA 31904. Mrs. Giles was born January 1, 1929 in Pittsview, Alabama daughter of the late Willie and Annie Pearl Ford. She retired from Midtown Medical Center as a nurse's assistant. Mrs. Giles was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hardin Giles Sr., daughter Vanessa Gunn and siblings Richard Ford, Albert Ford and Katie Weldon. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, three sons, Willie (Hattie) Ford, Hardin (Caroline) Giles Jr; and Lamar (Betty) Giles; four daughters Katrina (Ronaldo) Reyter, Littwedda Minger, Remonia (Larry) Sullins and Marion Williams; one brother Eddie (Leethia) Ford; son-in-law Jessie Gunn and a host of grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
