Phenix City, Alabama- Mrs. Annie Ruth McCoy Beasley, 66, of 17 Sanks Drive, Phenix City, AL passed Friday, February 10, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center, Columbus, GA. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon EST, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church, Pittsview, AL with Rev. Frederick Miller, pastor; Rev. Adrian Chester, officiating; Rev. Sunita Williams, presiding. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday, February 17, 2017 from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beasley was born October 27, 1950 in Seale, AL to the late Alphonso McCoy, Sr. and the late Bertha Toney McCoy. She was a member of Benevolent Grove Baptist Church and retired from the Russell County School System. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Beasley, Sr.; two sons, Edwin (Yolanda) Beasley and Arthur Beasley, Jr.; one daughter, SherRonda (Manuel) Johnson; three sisters; Rev. Lenora (Melvin) Perry, Min. Helen (Ervin) Hall and Dr. Priscilla Crow; two brothers, Turner (Jean) McCoy and Rev. Alphonso, Jr. (Jackie) McCoy; nine grandchildren; one greatgrandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Please visit www.thetaylorfuneralhome.com to sign the online guest registry.

To the Family of Mrs Beasley, We express our deepest sympathy. I had the pleasure to work with Mrs. "B" (that's what we called her)and I found her to be a honest and sweet woman. It was a treat to sit and talk with her. She brought me to tears when she told me about how she became a piano player. Her desire was so great. She was a talented woman that loved the Lord. I would tell her you are a gifted. Her reply would be, " yea and I thank God for them too and I'm gonna use everyone he gave me." and then she would flash a beautiful smile. May the sweet memories of Mrs. Beasley comfort you. We are praying with you.
