He was a great man. Everytime I saw him he would sneak me a dollar as a kid and say "That's called money, be sure to make plenty of it!!!!" Lol. When I became an adult he would then say, "Niecy, I'm gonna find you a rich man!!!!!" Lol. It was always a joy to see him coming because he always brought a smile and tons of laughter with him. Boy was he a funny man, especially when he got with his brother "Skinny". He helped to organize one of the best family reunions for The Hill-Lawrence Family at the Modern Free in the late 80's that I will cherish forever. That was one of my most favorite childhood memories, especially the white stirofoam hats they all wore lol. Thank you Uncle for a job well done. Now spread your wings and fly!!!!! I love you and will miss you so.
P.S.-Tell aunt Willie Mae to try not to give you a hard time up there lol and put in a good word for the rest of us will ya

He was a man who always believed in family and the ties that bind. He will always be a treasured love one of mine. He knew me from the time I was born. He was a good father to his children and a true friend to everyone. He served God from a very young age. He was humble and seldom became enraged. I shall miss him with all my heart. He is with the Savior and we will never be apart. He's earning his wings This I have no doubt. He found his true calling and this is something to shout about. Shout with tears of joy for he's gone on his way.We will all be together in His kingdom someday.
