Bishop Robert Williams, Sr.

Columbus, Georgia - Bishop Robert Williams, Sr., 85, of Columbus, GA passed Friday, November 4, 2022 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Christ Community Church, Columbus, GA with The Most Reverend Titus B. Deas, Jr. Presiding Bishop and officiant. Burial to follow in Green Acres Cemetery, Columbus, GA. Visitation is Friday, November 11, 2022 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Bishop Williams was born September 7, 1937 in Russell County, AL to the late Abe Williams and the late Willie Lou Perry. He served as pastor of Evangel Temple First Born Church of the Living God and served as Diocese Bishop of The South Carolina Diocese.
Survivors include seven children; Joseph (Tiwauna) Williams, Robert (Nanette) Williams, Jr., Waring Williams, Tory Williams, Ezra (Kisa) Williams, Sprague Williams and Deirdre Williams; one sister, Mary Mathis; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives; and friends.
