Decatur, GA- The Celebration of Life for Christine Williams Mitchell will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Highway 165, Phenix City, Alabama. The body will lie in state on hour before the service. The Rev. Dr. Patrick Brown, pastor. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.
A native of Phenix City, AL, Christine Williams Mitchell was a graduate of South Girad High School ('63) and Columbus Technical College. She died Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Atlanta.
Those who cherish the memory of Christine Williams Mitchell include her loving and devoted sons, Eric Antwuan Mitchell (Sandra) and Keith Dashuan Mitchell of Decatur, Georgia; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Williams Stephens of Phenix City, AL and Patricia Williams Ashford (Nathaniel) of Smiths Station, AL; brother, Willie H. Williams; other relatives and friends .
