Hey sis,

It has been one year since you were called home. My missing you hasn't changed. I called your dad, sister and brother and the your children. Sherry and I cried together..I cried and she comforted me. We know each day, month and year it will get easier. I guess you've seen my Uncle Tommy by now. Give him, my mom and dad huge hugs for me. Sis you will always be with me. I love you and miss you.

Deb, yesterday was your birthday...I check back to this site periodically to see if any of the many people that crossed your path outside of the ones that signed this book stopped in to acknowledge you..I re-read the same entries, noting that no new ones have been entered. I haven't and will not forget you sis. I miss you and yesterday was very difficult. I know you are at as much peace as you can be...I love you my friend, my sister...my DOGG!

Deb, my sister, my friend, my confidant. I miss you sooo much, words could never express. I miss you calling me "Lil girl". I promise to keep the promise. I know you are watching over us all as I can feel your presence. The tears will eventually stop, the pain will eventually subside, and I'm certain that God will fill the void in my heart that opened when he called you home. Thanks for returning the eyebrow pencil..Love you always, your big sister.

Blessings to all of "Debs" family, friends and ride or die soliders for life. Deb was a sweetie, and if you were her friend, that was it! We had many "pajama" talks at 2am and I will miss her honesty, love and admiration for the REAL. Rest well my sista, and when I hear the bell ringing at 2am, I'll know its you. Peace

PICK UP THE BROKEN PIECES

Father, I am broken. I seem to be filled with absolute emptiness. I have nothing to offer You but pieces of my life. Pick them up, I pray, and use them. Help me submit, while You arrange these pieces in a new way. I understand Your way is best. You are the Master Craftsman and know my very being. Thank You for the miracle You create from my shattered life. Thank You for how You are making me into a beautiful new vessel to be used for You.

In Jesus' name I pray.
