So sadden to hear of your passing Delbra i have known you all of my life. You were one of the 5 people that i knew as my sisters best friends. I often sat in on some of the conversations you would have with each other and how you all would talk as if the distance didn't keep you apart. Your laughter , your friendship, and your presence will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew you. Until we meet again

My dear friend I'm missing you so much. Nobody really knows what bond you and I had. We had been friends for many years. She was like a second Mom to me. She saw me through many difficult times. This is so hard because it was so unexpected. You rest now and I will see you again some day. Save me a place beside you and we will continue where we left off. We got more shopping to do.

Delbra was a great friend and neighbor of my Mothers for many years. I looked forward to her updates about the happenings around Columbus whenever I would come home. She was a true neighbor ( and one of the Guardian Angels) who watched out for Mother and her house in our absence. Thanks Delbra. Rest in Heaven. Well miss you!

My beloved carverlite colleague and friend. Ms. Delbra, we have traveled to many places and seen many faces through our many years of work together with the GWCAA and The Unity Breakfast. The GW Carver High School Alumni Choir, City choir- workshops, church conferences and those oldie gospel concerts. Our close collaborative wedding decor- floral work, proved to me time and time again. Creativity was the gem to our many conversations. You had a knack for people always making sure everything was in tact. Working with you on so many projects were meaningful and I was privileged to share with you a close bond called Friendship. To love what you do and you displayed it so well on this side. The Lord had a great need for you in paradise.
Travel lite my dear take your flight my friend, you're finally free!!!!

I was so shocked to see your name here
I kept thinking about you and I said I was going to call you. I learned life is indeed short. We need to stop putting things off until tomorrow. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. May you rest in the arms of the Lord. You will be missed
