I just want to say it was honor and a blessing for me to be able to get to know Mrs. Thomas and have her in my life. She was so funny and I still could never get used to talking so loud so she could hear me. I always felt like I was yelling and that was rude to me. Good thing she could read my lips most of the time. She cared for people and was never afraid to say how she felt. There are not too many people in this world that could say things the way she did. I was also very happy that she approved of me being with her favorite nephew Antonio (Dewaine). He says I remind him of her and that makes me feel blessed. I also thank her for helping raise such a wonderful person. I am blessed to have such a great man (Dewaine) as my husband and she was a big part of that process. I hope to continue to make her proud.....God Bless her family.

Aunt Delia, you were somebody special. You were funny and full of life. I will never forget the advice you gave me 33 years ago.You said don't let that man go no where without you. You told me to go to Germany with your husband, because women are trifling I took your advice. Rest in Peace.

I remember Mrs. Thomas would always come to the Dr. office and when signing in she would always want to know where I was. I would hear her voice and immediately come to the front so that she knew I was at work and I would ask her how she was doing and she would say " Pretty good for a 91 yr old lady." She and I would talk for an hr sometime about the commissary, the fruit cake receipe that she have given me. I would try and help her out of the chair after she had been seen and she would say to me let her do it cause I wouldn't be at hm to do it with her. It was such a joy and honor to have known Mrs. Thomas. I will always think of Mrs. Thomas each time the commissary or fruit cake is being talked about.
