Dorothy Steele May 21, 1947 - March 20, 2009 COLUMBUS, GA — Mrs. Dorothy Sutton - Russell - Steele, 61, of 228 Northstar Drive, Columbus, GA, died March 20, 2009. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the home of Ethel and Robert Sutton, 1040 Diggs Avenue, Columbus, GA, according to Taylor Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Mrs. Steele was born May 21, 1947 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late Dorothy L. Walker Sutton and Richard Percy Sutton. She was a Cashier at a convenience store and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. Survivors include a daughter, Malonia "Moe" Christine Russell; a brother, Robert H. (Ethel) Sutton; five grandchildren, Antonio, Michael, Sonji, Joseph and Moesha; two great grandchildren, Kaniya and Armani; two nephews, one niece, two great nephews and one great niece.
