Douglas Scott Obituary

Douglas D. Scott November 16, 1946- April 20, 2005 MIDLAND, GA— Douglas D. Scott, 58, of Midland, GA died Wednesday, April 20 at St. Francis Hospital. Graveside Services will be held Monday, April 25 at 11 a.m. at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, according to Vance-Brooks Funeral Home. The Rev. Eugene Bowman will be officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Douglas D. Scott was born November 16, 1946, son of the late Douglas Scott and Kathleen Duncan Scott. Mr. Scott worked as a Systems Analyst for Mead for many years. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Scott is survived by his daughter, Allison Scott of Phenix City, AL; sons, Matthew Scott of Midland, GA Zachary Scott of Midland, GA; sister, Fay Scott Dixon and her husband Bonny of Hawkinsville, GA; nephew, Gregory Scott Dixon of Hawkinsville, GA; granddaughter, Emily Rae Scott.
