Columbus, Georgia- Mrs. Ella Mae Lewis, of 3313 Glenwood Drive, Columbus, GA died Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Greater Beulah Baptist Church with Dr. Rev. C. Medley Hayes pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Edmonds Cemetery according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave., Columbus, GA. Visitation will be 12-6 PM, Monday, September 26, 2016 at the funeral home. Mrs. Lewis was born April 6, the daughter of the late Marion Bass and Pearlie Sims Bass. She was a Home Health Nurse for Statewide Health Care and a member of Greater Beulah Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board. Survivors include her husband, Marchel Lewis, one son, Joseph Bass, one daughter, Perlie Crowell (Calvin), two sisters, Emma Lean Sumbry and Mary Lee James all of Columbus, GA, six grandchildren, Porche Pearce, JaCorrey Crowell, JaDaeja Crowell, JoElla Crowell, Joseph Crowell and JaNiya Crowell, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special nieces Mary Evans (Jasper), Marie James. Special friend of family Tamika Franklin.
