My heart is saddened at the loss of such a sweet young woman. We were friends in high school and her laugh and wit will not be forgotten. She touched the lives of all she knew and made us better for knowing her. What a passion for life! May GOD be with her family and friends during this time of mourning.

Erlene~~I remember meeting you when you were just a little girl when your brother and I started dating. You were a part of my life for eighteen years and I watched you grow into a beautiful lady. You were a great aunt to my son and he loved you so much. So many memories over the years, we went through a lot as family and although the recent divorce between me and your brother left some distance between us, you were always in my heart. I miss you and I know Chris misses you terribly. We love you Erlene!!

I had the pleasure of first meeting Erlene when she came up for our MIT Futures of Entertainment conference in 2006, and her enthusiasm was unforgettable, not just about the work she was doing at Super Deluxe but about life in general. She understood humor as a business, but likewise how important it is in daily life to laugh.

As the other comments I've seen here are a testament of, Erlene not only knew how to enjoy her life but likewise how to make others happy. And no matter how sad I want to be about the fact that I'll never get to know Erlene more or know what could have been in her future had she been with us longer, I can't help but feel the greatest way to pay tribute to her is to remember her lively spirit and smile.
