Tallahassee, FL- Ethel (Betty) Jarvis Rowlenson passed away September 28, 2013 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Tallahassee, FL.
She was born in Arlington, Ga on December 3, 1932 to Mr. and Mrs. John H. Jarvis. She was a long time resident of Columbus, GA. Betty was a member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church of Columbus, GA.
Betty is survived by her son, Joel Haddaway Rowlenson, Jr. and wife Patty of Silverhill, AL : one daughter, Mary Chafin and husband Paul of Tallahassee, FL ; one sister, Margaret Greene of Columbus, GA. and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Carolyn Jarvis and Mary Jane Jarvis.
A private family graveside service will be held in Arlington, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Edgewood Presbyterian Church of Columbus, GA.
