Fredrick Gardner Obituary

Fredrick Milton Gardner, Jr. August 23, 1958 - May 26, 2009 COLUMBUS, GA — Mr. Fredrick ÒFredÓ Milton Gardner, Jr., 50 of Columbus, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Friday, May 29, 2009 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home Chapel, 4048 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA., with Reverend David Howle officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Gardner was born August 23, 1958 in Columbus, GA to Fredrick Milton Gardner, Sr. and Lillian Christine Hill Gardner. He was a graduate of Columbus Technical College with a Computer Science Degree. He was a Baptist by faith and attended North Baptist Church. Fred was a loving and devoted father, husband, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. ÊIn addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Terry Gardner. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 18 years, Sandra J. Gardner of Columbus, GA., a son, Thomas Gardner and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suntrust Bank on behalf of his minor son, Thomas Gardner.
