Columbus, GA- Gabriel Karl Foster, age 17, of Columbus, Ga., died Friday, May 8, 2015 at Midtown Medical Center. Memorial services will be held 12:00PM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at The Bridge Church with Pastor Vince Allen officiating, according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 2919 Hamilton Road, Columbus. Gabriel was born October 27, 1997 in Columbus, GA, the son of Sandra Faye Carter and Zachary Karl Foster. He had attended schools in the Muscogee County School District to include Kendrick High School. He was enrolled at Columbus Technical College. Gabriel enjoyed playing football, video games and spending time with his family. He was a member of The Bridge Church in Columbus where he participated in the Youth Choir. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grace Hopkins and Charlie C. Ghant; aunts, Terri Shorter, Patricia Talley and Shirley Fleming; and an uncle, Darrell Foster. Survivors include his mother Sandra Faye Carter of Columbus; his father, Zachary "Karl" (Pamela) Foster of Columbus; two sisters, Jessica Carter and Zakara Foster, both of Columbus; a step sister, Latoya Beach; two brothers, Keith Carter of Ft. Carson, CO and Zachary Foster of Columbus; step brothers, David Williams and Hakeem Jones; a niece, Kamora Moses of Americus, GA; grandparents, Ruby Foster and James Hopkins, both of Columbus; aunts, Beverly (Curley) Jones of Smith Station, AL, Janet (Larry) Davis, Elaine Bush, Diane (Jeffery), Green, Nancy Lee, Barbara Ghant, all of Columbus, Vallier (Edward) Robinson of Hamilton, GA; uncles, Victor Foster, Micheal Hopkins, Aaron Shorter, all of Columbus, Timothy (Betty) Foster of Ocean Springs, MS, Zechariah (Lisa) Terry of Buena Vista, GA, and Daniel Hopkins of Unadilla, GA; and a host of other family members and friends.
