Columbus, GA- Gabe Borchardt passed away on April 12 at age 66 at his home in Columbus, Georgia. Gabe was born on February 15, 1946 in Jerusalem, Palestine. At age 16, he mmigrated to New York with his parents, Hans and Dora, and brother, Michael. He was a podiatrist for over 30 years, practicing in Toronto, Canada, Columbus, GA, and Phenix City, AL. He
will be remembered for his love of dogs and collecting sports memorabilia.
Dr. Borchardt is survived by his older brother Michael (Lenora), of Charlotte, NC, his daughter Jennifer of San Francisco, CA, and his son Jason of Richmond Heights, OH. He is predeceased by his father Hans and his mother Dora. The family wishes to thank the organizations and friends who have helped Gabe over many years, particularly Dr. Ronald Kowan of Columbus. A memorial service will be held in Columbus.

My thoughts and prayers go to Dr. Borchardts family. I was one of his first patients in Columbus. He was a kind person with a terrific
