I just learned that my friend and former Sunday School classmate has gone home to be with our Lord. I wish it were possible for me to attend the funeral service, but distance and health problems will not permit me to be there. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, especially members of the Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Phenix City. He has been in our prayers since he became unable to attend.

I only met Mr Miles a few times, but enjoyed stopping to talk to him as he & his horse were walking each other in the Summerville Rd area. I was even lucky enough to be invited on a few trail rides with him and his "riding buddys". He was a most interesting person, and the epitomy of a true GENTLEMAN. I have missed seeing him lately, and sorry I didn't know that he was ill.
