Smiths Station, Alabama - Mr. George Henry Stephens, 76, of Smiths Station, AL passed Monday, October 24, 2022 in Smiths Station, AL.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. EST, Monday, October 31, 2022 at Franchise Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Raymond Cochran, Pastor, officiating. Interment to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Stephens was born on August 26,1946 in Phenix City, AL to the late Johnny and the late Mary Lou Stephens. He was a 1964 graduate of South Girard, served in the U.S. Army and member of Franchise M.B. Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel S. Stephens; three children,Terrie (Raymond) Riley, Victor G. Stephens and Keith R. Stephens;three siblings, Larry (Lisa) Stephens, Clema S. Ethel, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's homegoing. I just found out today. Remember God is with you every step of the way. He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. He will be with us even until the end of this world. I am praying for you and your family.
